Clay Mitchell and Drew Bromley were massively disappointed when they found out TheShyK9 forgot to credit them, and instead only really attributed it to himself.
While making the scenes, a lot of the dialogue done by Clay Mitchell was heavily rewritten by TheShyK9 himself while he was writing his side plots.
Drew Bromley wanted to make Meggy somewhat more sympathetic as he felt her character was very one-dimensional as hell and felt there could've been some additional complex stuff regarding Red being in the right or not, with some wrongs but ultimately is more innocent than Meggy's actions afterward. However, Clay Mitchell rejected those ideas, much to Drew's annoyance. Later on, however, Clay expressed some regret and felt of actually bringing some of Drew's ideas back to fruition for follow-ups.
The whole premise was based on Clay Mitchell's massive hatred over the character Meggy Spletzer from SMG4 (2011), whom he regarded as a self-center egotistical manipulative jerk who gets away scot-free. While making this plot, made Clay felt that Meggy's character worked far better as a villain.
Clay Mitchell wanted to make a remastered edition of this film, titled "Red-Man: Meggy Mecanholy" with additional animated scenes done by Jigglyjai, while adding more stuff done by TheShyK9 previously he felt was connected to this film arc. He also had plans to make follow-ups regarding this film, however, none of this ever really came to fruition due to Jigglyjai being too busy with other work, as well as people losing certain interest in the projects.
