Mark Lund wrote Justice Is Mind in 2010 and produced the short film version 'Justice Is Mind: Evidence (2011)' in 2011 to promote the feature length screenplay and as a capital raise vehicle. Based on the short, Lund raised the funding to produce Justice Is Mind.
After seeing the trailer at an industry event, the commissioner of the Schenectady Film Commission invited Justice Is Mind to premiere in Albany, NY as part of Inspiration Week and because of MRI history in the region. General Electric, in Schenectady, was one of the pioneers in developing MRI technology in the 1980s, the backbone to the Justice Is Mind story is advanced MRI technology.
The MRI scenes in which an MRI machine was used, were shot at the MRI Centers of New England in Haverhill, MA.
The police officers, EMTs, horse trainers and various restaurant staff members all played themselves as that was their daytime occupation.
Actor Jeffrey Phillips who plays George Katz in Justice Is Mind (2013) played President Robert Anderson in Lund's First World (2007).
