No wait, that's not it. Seriously though: Cage fighting or illegal fighting in general ... who hasn't heard about it? Does this movie add anything new? Not really. Are the action scenes that good that you will be wooed by them? I don't think so either. One thing you shouldn't do at all: watch this movie with the German dub! It's really terrible! I have a feeling they either used people who work at their office or randomly recorded people on the street! No emotion, no "acting", no anything that is helpful to the movie.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a super movie to begin with, it's decent if you're willing to see the low budget, oversee some over acting, the clichés, dumb dialog and plot holes as big as they get ... but the dubbing lowers it to a whole different level. So the verdict for the dubbed version would be a 1/10. As it is, I acknowledge the low budget and some of the ideas they were trying to get across.

Good cage fighting film. The fight scenes are good. The story makes sense and is believable. No romance, just a guy (Guerrero) trying to find his family after being smuggled back into the U.S. from Mexico. He has to fight to earn money to find his family. The guys who basically own him are running illegal cage fights. They take advantage of the fact that he has no money and is desperately looking for his family. They promise him they will help with the search and pay him very well for his fights. Although Guerrero does not know this, basically if he doesn't win they will kill him. They are corrupt and murderers. This film did a good job keeping my interest to see if he would win, how bad he was going to get beat up along the way and if he would find his family. There is a twist at the end of the movie too.

When Guerrero, a former champion wrestler, and kick boxer sneaks his way into the United States, an organized crime gang seeks to use his unique talents to their advantage. Will he fight in this underground mixed martial arts tournament against his better judgment in order to find his family? This film is a wild, Spanish language ride full of fight scenes, suspense, romance and a dash of comedy. It also deals with the issues facing many illegal immigrants who are often exploited for the gains of other people. If you are a fan of action movies, martial arts, or fight movies, this one is for you. Another fun, entertaining film brought to you by Art Camacho.

"Cage Fight" is about the underground world of cage fighting and the people who get caught up in it. The movie centers around rivals who choose fighters to compete, and the tactics (oftentimes dirty) they use to win. Within this world are the fighters, who are often undocumented workers, who get forced into these intense competitions. The central character of this movie, Guerrero, is one of these. He comes across the border in the trunk of a car looking for work, and looking for his family. The head boss Santoro sees that he can fight and forces Guerrero to fight for him in the upcoming Cage Fight. Will Guerrero fight? Will he leave and seek out his family? Will he survive? These are all questions that are set up by the plot in this entertaining MMA based film. I found myself hooked from start to finish and thoroughly entertained!
