I watched the movie with my family & at first I wasn't sure if they're going to like it. But after a few minutes they got the message & it was very moving. The movie was made in Iran & it was amazing that the producer could make such a powerful movie in such a short time with very little budget. The movie had good story & was delivered well. In USA we have so much & often take it for granted. This movie really made an impression on my family & was very powerful. The tittle is also very meaningful, I did some research & found out that it means "Not thru street, the other side of that street". Often we think we have it so bad & complaining thru our lives. And then you see others & their situation & realize how good we have it. And this movie is exactly that. I highly recommend everyone to watch this movie. I think it'll change your mind about short films!!!
This movie makes you be thankful about all you have and reminds you of what is real and what is not.
I also love all the people in this movie. It shows Iran and it's lovely people. So different then what we see in the U.S. on the news.
It restores faith in humanity and shows you that love and compassion is what binds us all together, and it's everywhere. The smooth story line and great casting make this a very lovely movie. It's also short and sweet. The best use of sound editing and music.
I am also amazed that a movie from Iran has made it this far. Bravo to Pouira O. Heidary.
