This Friday saw multiple releases which included Shilpa Shukla's B.A. Pass, the Deepak Dobriyal and Priya Bhatija starrer Chor Chor Super Chor and the Arshad - Riya venture Rabba Main Kya Karoon etc. The outcome was quite predictable as the best performance (if one may say so!) came from B.A. Pass and Chor Chor Super Chor, both of which hovered around 10 percent. The remaining releases saw dismal collections. The new releases not only had to bear the brunt of older films (espec...

The late Joy Mukherjee jostles with 20-something year old debutant Akash Chopra in the theatres this week. It looks like a chaos of releases again.
It's the pre-Eid week when Ramzan is at its peak and a sizeable chunk of the audience stays away from movie theatres. Yet we have a very strange spectrum of releases lined up for Friday.
Joy Mukherjee who passed away last year resurfaces in Love In Bombay, a 42-year old project directed by Joy (his second directorial effort after Humsaaya) that has the distinction of every actor and technician being dead except the lovely Waheeda Rehman...God grant her a long life.
The late prolific filmmaker Ramanand Sagar's grandson Akash Chopra makes his screen debut in the wedding comedy Rabba Main Kya Karoon directed by Amrit Sagar who gave us that excellent war film 1971. The film has an interesting lineup of comic actors Arshad Warsi,...

Film: "Chor Chor Super Chor"; Cast: Deepak Dobriyal, Chandrahas Tiwari, Anshul Kataria, Priya Bathija; Director: K. Rajesh; Rating: ***
There is a very good reason why this interesting satire on petty crime and plummeting morals in Delhi is captioned "Season One".
Reality shows and their absolutely disregard for basic decency and human sensitivities play a major part in "Chor Chor Super Chor". The script by director K. Rajesh, Anil Thomas and V. Radhakrishnan creates a world of petty crime in the metropolis with a generous dosage of warm humour and a comic candour directed at the middle-class and its craving for a good life.
In this sharply-drawn satire, the Great Indian 'Muddle' Class is projected in a bright and.

Mumbai, July 30: Actor Deepak Dobriyal, known for his character roles in films like "Omkara" and "Gulaal" among others, is playing the lead for the first time in forthcoming movie "Chor Chor Super Chor" and says that the only pressure he is experiencing is of promoting the movie.
"I only have the pressure of promoting the film because I have not done this much promotion for any of my films yet. So, that is the pressure and I will do it. It's a new experience for me," Deepak said Monday in an interview here.
"There was no pressure while acting. Every actor, who will come on the screen in this film, would grab your attention.
