Hollywood composers Brad Breeck and Gabriel Hays have come on board to pen the soundtrack for TV series “Snow Queen: Gerda and the Keepers of Wonders.”
Breeck is best known for his work on Disney’s “Gravity Falls” and the “Voltron” series reboot for Dreamworks and Netflix. He was the composer for MTV’s “Awkward” and Cartoon Network’s “We Bare Bears.” For Nickelodeon he scored the series “Fanboy and Chumchum” and penned the theme for “Robot and Monster.”
Hays is most well-known for writing music for the Disney animated series “Star Darlings” and “Whisker Haven.” He has also composed for numerous other films, documentaries and TV shows, including Disney’s “Puppy Dog Pals” and “Pickle and Peanut,” “We Bare Bears” for Cartoon Network, PBS’s “Half the Sky” and “A Path Appears,” and “7 Deadly Sins” for Showtime.

Amazon Studios will test adding more content to its ever-growing slate of kids’ programming. The streaming video platform and online retail giant has ordered six new pilot episodes for children’s series set for release on Amazon Instant Video in summer 2015.
The greenlit children’s pilots will debut this summer on Amazon Instant Video as the newest round of the platform’s kid-based pilot seasons. As is the case with all of Amazon’s pilot seasons, the e-commerce giant’s upcoming slate of episodes for kids will allow Amazon customers to give feedback about which pilot episodes they want to see turned into an Original Series on Prime.

Giving props to the hottest shows and stars rocking the airwaves during the day, the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards nominees were just unveiled.
And the top nod-getter this year is “The Young and The Restless” with 23 chances at glory, while “General Hospital” nabbed 19 mentions.
“Days of Our Lives” and “Sesame Street” both tied for third place thanks to 17 nominations each, and there are plenty of other big names on the list as well.

The Young and the Restless tallied 23 nominations as honors were announced this morning for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Restless’ impressive take helped CBS lead all networks with 50 overall nominations. PBS and ABC followed, with 44 and 38 nods, respectively.
General Hospital, which earned 19 nominations, joined Restless in the race for Outstanding Drama Series, and Sesame Street received 17 nods, including three for Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo who faces allegations of sexual misconduct.
Good Morning America and Today will bring their ratings rivalry to the Emmys, where they’ll be joined by CBS Sunday Morning in the Outstanding Morning Program category.
