By this point, she’s faced many challenges in her teaching career.

Her future was in limbo as she faced several setbacks. However, Elizabeth is determined to move along with the changes. The preview teases that she will learn “a new method of teaching” that will hopefully benefit her and her students. On Thursday, Hollywood industry publication Production Weekly included a new production that could interest Hearties. In the January 9 issue, they listed four Hallmark productions including When Calls The Heart 13.

Could Production Weekly have shared an old post? That doesn’t seem likely. When Calls The Heart Season 12 was renewed in May 2024.

There are also other considerations. Production Weekly usually adds projects about to be filmed or about to be announced. In general, Wcth doesn’t film until around July.

When Calls the Heart Season 12 got off the ground running over the weekend, with the residents of Hope Valley embracing change.

In When Calls the Heart Season 12, Episode 2, Rosemary is moving full steam ahead with her big radio debut, and given her infectious personality, we think she’ll be a hoot.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t think so, and things take a turn when Elizabeth surprises her with a banner announcing her big day.

Rosemary is worried about it being deemed a “debacle” and the population of Hope Valley pointing and laughing at her.

That would be a real shame if it did happen, but that’s not the tone of When Calls the Heart, so we’re sure it will be one of the best days of Rosemary’s life.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, the cast spoke out about the new season. Hearties enjoy the romance between Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) and can’t wait for more romance to unfold between the golden couple.

The cast teased that “spicy” moments would occur between the two. One of those moments includes a “sleepover situation.” This was brought up during Hallmark’s Christmas Experience, which occurred from December 13 to 15, reports Entertainment Now.

Unfortunately, Wcth only has one New Year’s special titled “New Year’s Wish.” The show never released any other specials since most of the seasons premiered in the springtime. Changes were made for budget reasons. Production had to choose between releasing 10 episodes per season, or creating annual Christmas specials.

That’s why there are only four Christmas specials. The last one was released in 2019. (Here’s how to watch all four Wcth Christmas movies if you haven’t already.) But let’s move forward to the New Year’s special, shall we?

Will Lucas find a new love in Season 12? He spoke to Swooon about the new season. He also teased what’s in store for his alter ego. Lucas could finally meet his match.

“Well, there is one of the new characters that’s coming to town who represents a fairly strong opposition to Lucas, and I think within that is a spark of chemistry, and we will see where that goes,” McNally said.

Of course, he can’t share any more details.

When Calls the Heart is one of Hallmark Channel‘s biggest hits, and fans might be wondering when season twelve will be debuting on the fan fave network.

If you don’t know, the smash-hit TV show was renewed for season 12 earlier this year after a successful season 11.

Hallmark confirmed that season 12 would be coming in 2025.

In addition, in the initial press release, they shared, “With more stories to tell in Hope Valley, season 12 will continue with themes about family, community, and of course romance as we move further into the 1920s.” The season will include 12 episodes.

On When Calls the Heart, Chris McNally plays Lucas Bouchard. In the new Hallmark Christmas movie Holiday Crashers, he plays a business mogul named Justin who develops a crush on Toni (Lyndsy Fonseca), who has started crashing holiday parties using a fake identity.

When Calls the Heart Season 12 is still a while away from premiering, but it hasn’t stopped casting details from spilling out about the show.

Hallmark broke the exciting news Saturday that Little House on the Prairie alum Melissa Gilbert has snagged a guest role during Season 12 of the long-running drama.

The cabler revealed in a press release that Melissa is on board as Georgie McGill, “who shares a surprising past with one special Hope Valley resident.”

It’s unclear who that resident is at this stage, but we’re just happy that Melissa is joining When Calls the Heart.

She has had many excellent roles throughout her expansive career, beginning with Little House on the Prairie.

Her casting happened after she connected with Wcth executive producer Michael Landon Jr., the son of Little House on the Prairie star and showrunner Michael Landon.

When Calls the Heart star Mamie Laverock is finally home from the hospital following her nearly fatal fall off of a five-story balcony earlier this year. Laverock’s return home was announced on her official Facebook page on Monday, August 19. The celebratory post featured photos from her welcome home party and was captioned, “Dreams do come true. Welcome Home Mamie.” The photos show a cake and rainbow balloon arch and a sign that reads “home sweet home.” The comments section on the post is flooded with well wishes from Laverock’s supporters. A video also posted on August 19 shows Laverock arriving at her home in an ambulance.
