A film too pretentious. Have a good start, but little by little it is diluted with the film advance. Lack of solid story, with details tacky. Exacerbes many of the current social problems in Mexico, such as lack of security, values and corruption. The crime of this movie is having too Andrés Bustamante's expectations. The performances of the rest of cast are poor. Abusers use the name actors like María Rojo or Kate del Castillo to attract the public, but they only appear a few seconds. In summary, The Crime of Cacaro Gumaro is a lamentable waste of time and money. Watch it, just if you desire to support the Mexican film industry.

I was very excited about this film. The cast was very promising: Ana De la Reguera, Jesus Ochoa, Maria Rojo! CHABELO! I find this movie to be a complete waste of amazing talent, and that makes me sad. The plot is not bad, but it was almost painful to watch after the first 15 minutes or so. I know is suppose to be a comedy but out of the entire movie I may laughed a handful of times at the most. It seems to me that the movie was suppose to be somehow comparable to "scary movie" or one those parody films which I am just not a fan of. The actors tried their best, but the script just sucks! The entire movie is full with ridiculous effects, and exaggerated jokes beyond the funny line. Bottom line is "This movie is boring"
I would suggest anyone to just watch it and be your own judge.
