At the end of the closing credits, there is an ofrenda to the deceased people who inspired the filmmakers of Coco, in the form of a mosaic made from photographs.
The Walt Disney Pictures opening logo's music, the orchestral version of "When You Wish Upon a Star", is played in the Mexican mariachi style.
After the end credits but before the above-mentioned mosaic comes on it reads: "Dia de Muertos is a Mexican heritage tradition with roots in indigenous culture. To learn more, visit your local library."
On the opening Pixar logo, the last sound is muted. After the lamp stops moving as usual, a bell chiming is heard leading to the opening shot.
