These days, WWE Superstars don’t just make their TV money through in-ring performances on “Raw,” “SmackDown Live” and WWE Network pay-per-views — there’s an entire (WWE) Universe of opportunity for popular pro wrestlers to earn big bucks on the small screen.

In our gallery are 11 WWE wrestlers with their own television shows. We included a few select series from recent years to help paint a picture of the non-canvas landscape. A few: “Straight Up Steve Austin,” “Fight Like a Girl” and “The Big Show Show” have yet to premiere.

For the purposes of this story, we only counted the three people who appeared in all 111 episodes of “Total Divas” — Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Natalya — as it being *their* show, but we included the names of everyone who showed up in seven or more episodes of that one.

Nashville‘s Season 5 premiere on Thursday night amassed a 0.8 demo rating across three airings on Cmt, Encore and Nick @ Nite, down just a tenth from its ABC finale and off 20 percent from its Season 4 average.

I'm going to be honest here, wrestling just isn't what it used to be. I watched it all the time when I was younger, but over the last decade or so, haven't been able to get into it very much. For me, the highest point of the entertainment sport was the "Attitude" era, where The Rock and Stone Cold were prominent players along with other memorable wrestlers. Steve Austin will be back for Season 2 of Cmt’s Redneck Island when the competition series kicks up again starting Nov. 10 at 9pm Et/Pt.
