A masterful lesson from a highly honored teacher.

Mr. Gatto, Lays bare all the important signposts so that one may more easily navigate the world we are born into. Chock full of the who, what, where, when, how and most importantly why, of the "program" called western "civilization" and the players along the way executing "the plan".

A must have resource for anyone wishing to see clearly how we got where we are and where we are heading if some people get their way. Getit they will, if we remain ignorant of our history. Important and choice references to ancient Greek philosophers notwithstanding, The Ultimate History Lesson is focused on modern history Gatto brings us along from the "Enlightenment" (dark times for many), forward to the present, detailing the trajectory of education, government, the condition of the populous and the aim of its leadership.

I cannot recommend this highly enough.
