Metallica’s 2023-2024 “M72 World Tour” is officially underway. As reported, the metal legends kicked off the two-year run with two shows in Amsterdam, playing entirely different sets on each night. On night one (April 27th), Metallica performed a 16-song set, showcasing three songs each from 72 Seasons, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and “The Black Album,” among other tunes. The evening ended with a ferocious rendition of “Master of Puppets.”

As advertised, the band didn’t repeat any songs from the first night during the second show (April 29th), which saw them playing 16 songs, as well. That gig closed out with a thunderous version of “Enter Sandman.”

We saw a definite shift from formularistic numbers to more nuanced tunes in step with the respective screenplays they would be featured alongside. Bollywood heartthrob Emraan Hashmi has said that he does not really enjoy dancing in films and does so as part of his job. The 35 year old will be seen in a dance number with Shraddha Kapoor titled ‘Dance Basanti’ from his latest film Ungli. “I think it is well known that dancing isn’t something I normally enjoy doing,” said Emraan. “However I actually had a really good time doing it for Ungli. I have a scene with Shraddha Kapoor in a nightclub where we perform a song.”

Emraan also added that he was at first nervous to be dancing alongside Shraddha for the first time due to her impeccable dance skills. “I was quite nervous before we started because Shraddha is such an exceptional dancer, but it was actually really fun. It is a really eye-catching song and I think people are going to enjoy it.”

The entire cast of Rensil D'Silva's eagerly-awaited Ungli has been seen going around showing the middle finger to whoever cares to look.

Rensil says it is an act of defiance expressing the indignance and contempt that the film's characters feel for the corruption all around them.

Alas, the censor board isn't sporting enough to see the lighter side of the finger. They've chopped off at least two shots of the characters flashing their middle finger.

The middle finger has always been a point of dispute for the censor board. Recently, in Abhishek Sharma's The Shaukeens, Dimple Kapadia's middle-finger had to be chopped off from the screen at the last minute as it was found to be objectionable.

Curiously, the Censor Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc) had no problems with Kareena Kapoor showing the finger to Saif Ali Khan in last week's release Happy Ending.

Emraan Hashmi is out with the title track of Ungli. The teaser of the promotional song titled ‘Ungli Pe Nachalein’, released online is most definitely one of the hottest songs this year.

Featuring Emraan Hashmi shaking a leg with several international models, the 15sec video leaves one with wanting to see more of this glitzy video. The teaser kick-starts with a very strong dialogue delivered by Emraan Hashmi. Composed by Aslam Keyi, ‘Ungli Pe Nachalein’ has been sung by Dev Negi & Shipra Goyal.

The song with be out at 5.30pm tomorrow on youtube.

The application titled ‘Zor Lagake Ungli’ gives users options to select a cause that and vent out, raising their ungli. Dharma Productions’ upcoming film Ungli has released yet another catchy track from the film. The song titled ‘Pakeezah’ is a heart-warming melody that instantly connects with the listeners.

The song features Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. Ironically, Kangana made her debut with Emraan Hashmi in Gangster. The duo invariably ends up passing on their magic to the music of the films they are paired together. ‘Pakeezah’ is a first song from the film that divulges the chemistry between the lead couple. The stage is set for this year’s explosive black comedy-drama, as five vigilantes take justice into their own hands in the dark and witty urban tale Ungli (Finger), which releases on 28th November 2014 through Reliance Entertainment internationally.

Produced by Dharma Productions, the film company helmed by supremo director and producer Karan Johar, the edgy film, with a noir comic twist, is set in a sprawling metropolis, where corruption, intimidation and violence are a way of life. A city that never sleeps, the underworld is at full force, led by a sinister mob that demands obedience and respect. Enter five rebels, who decide that they have had enough of the corruption that has blighted their city, and so decide to unite and expose the corrupt through whatever means necessary. The only thing that stands in their path is a tenacious police officer named Kale, portrayed by veteran actor Sanjay Dutt.

Known to do things differently, Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen for the very first time in a Dharma Productions’ film titled Ungli. The trailer of the film has been quite a surprise for viewers, as such an edgy film wasn’t expected out of the Production label.

Proving true to its theme, this Dharma Productions’ film has been making news for its offbeat and unique subject. As the movie revolves around 5 friends taking matters in their hands to change the system, the Ungli team started a campaign with the hashtag #VoteWaliUngli to promote the importance and need to vote, during the recent state elections.

With its strong digital presence, the film’s official handle held a contest around the importance of voting; it aimed at promoting people to send their ‘vote-selfies’. The contest was well promoted on all the official plug-ins of the film, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. On the day of Voting in Mumbai, people from the city were delivered flyers from the Ungli team, encouraging them to cast their vote.

Emraan Hashmi will shoot for a special promotional song for Dharma Productions' Ungli next week. What's more is that the actor who is currently shooting for Vishesh Films' Hamari Adhuri Kahaani in Dubai has taken special permission from producer Mahesh Bhatt and will fly down to Mumbai to shoot the special song.

Confirming the news Emraan Hashmi says, "I have taken permission and will be flying to Mumbai soon. I'm really excited to shoot this song as it is a fun concept."

When contacted Mahesh Bhatt said, "Emraan did tell me about the break he needed. We are shooting our film in Dubai right now, and will soon be moving to Cape Town. So, in the interim, we have given him some days off to shoot the song."...

The trailer of the film has set a record with the highest likes to dislike ratio for a trailer on YouTube this year.

The trailer has garnered an impressive 20:1 like to dislike ratio. Which means out of 21 viewers only one disliked the trailer, which is quite an accomplishment. The ratio stands as the best any film has achieved in this year, the second on the list being Mary Kom with a 16:1 like to dislike ratio.

The digital space has been set a buzz with audience’s appreciating the trailer for being a sleek, edgy and vigilante drama. The trailer has hit the one million mark within weeks of its digital release.

Karan Johar's next production Ungli and Hrithik Roshan's film Bang Bang will be having a unique association this week. While Hrithik Roshan starrer Bang Bang is all set to hit the silver screen this week, the film will be accompanied by the trailer of Karan Johar's next production Ungli. The Dharma Productions' film which will see Karan Johar coming together for the first time with Emraan Hashmi and Kangna Ranaut is finally slated to release next month. Ungli, which initially was slated for an early 2014 release, got postponed. Rumors say that Karan Johar took this decision in order to make way for Sajid Nadiadwala's film Heropanti which was also the launching vehicle of Tiger Shroff. However, director Rensil D'Silva had a different story to tell. He maintained that the release was postponed because he and Karan had decided to shoot two more songs for the film.

Mumbai, April 18: The Supreme Court gave Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt a month's reprieve in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, but the producers of his films feel four weeks are not enough for him to wrap up all the projects in hand.

Sentenced to five years in jail for possessing weapons illegally during the 1993 Mumbai riots, Sanjay, 53, wanted six more months to surrender to complete his projects worth Rs.278 crore.

His pending films include "Policegiri", "Pk", "Unglee" and the "Zanjeer" remake.

"Zanjeer" producer Saket Sahni, who is left with seven or eight days of work, including dubbing, said: "It's difficult to complete.
