Brilliant cinematography and direction and great use of location. Full of adrenaline and if ya want a buzz watch this. The type of movie that will turn up on theatre in a few years that you'll love and wonder why you haven't seen it before. A decent muscular action thriller. Kitsch is literally having a blast. However the twists are choreographed and I doubt many people will be sympathetic with the notion that it is alright to be a rotten cop as the pay is so lousy. Viren Keshav showed glimpses of just how good he could had been with better material. Shobhraj also acted very well in this movie.

A surprisingly different take on the script making. Heavy on the action that came across as realistic & succinctly made the point. A couple of well hidden twists that caught me. I think the actors were really cool taking on a movie like this that would be considered "beneath them". Sometimes all it takes is a simple and great story without all the CGI we've been rolling in over the past 10 years. Must watch kannada movie. If you can put up with this heavy-handed dialogue in Coctail , then you'll enjoy the action:But perhaps it either needed to go a little smaller in scale with a tighter script or way bigger with bigger names in front of the camera and a slicker feel. Must watch movie...

The idea of the movie was fantastic, screenplay and direction let down the movie so much. The best part of Cocktail is how it manages to follow the beats of a typical action thriller, while at the same time not being a Non-typical Sci-Fi thriller.

All in All - Cocktail is an absolute action ride at the cinemas. A thoroughly engaging nontypical crime thriller. It will give you the engaging, the kicks, the rush and the high. Exactly what a good movie is supposed to do. All actors did their part well. Especially Shobhraj. His presence elevates the movie and gives it the credibility that it needs, which it uses fully.

Overall this was a pretty good action thriller. While the storyline was a bit simplistic and commercial aspects, the execution was top notch. Viren Keshav played the part of hardened cop really well, and the supporting characters held their own. The storyline had good flow and kept up a good pace throughout. Enjoyable and worth the time to watch. Anyway. It's a good popcorn eating action movie. Charishma Chondamma is also great. Although the start of the crime takes place within a fair amount of time, followed up by awesome fight sequences and car chases, the first 15 minutes definitely take time to introduce us to the story.
