Lorenza Izzo in The Green Inferno (2013)

Crazy credits

The Green Inferno

Edit

After the song credits and before the special thanks, there is a "brief history of the Italian cannibal genre and their many names, along with their directors and their many names".

SPOILER: The end credits are interrupted after about 20 seconds for a stinger scene of Lucille (Alejandro's sister) calling Justine and telling her that she found a satellite photo of her brother (alive).

"Made with the generous participation of the people of Callanayacu Peru. Thank you for welcoming us in your beautiful village. We look forward to dining with you again soon."

Dedicated to Ruggero Deodato: 'Per Ruggero' appears at the end.

Audio stinger: a swine noise is audible at the very end of the credits.

"Special Thanks" credit to "Brad Pitt (both the mototaxi and the Oscar nominee)"

The twitter handles of the principle cast (as well as some of the crew and Eli Roth) are displayed alongside their names during the closing credits.

In the credits section dedicated to naming a few movies and directors of the Italian cannibal genre, there's a mention to 1980's Cannibal Apocalypse. The text goes on informing the director's name, Antonio Margheriti, being "pronounced Mar-ga-reeeeeeeeee-ti". This is a reference to a famous line from Eli Roth's character in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds (2009).

The director, Eli Roth, is also credited as 'Hand Double for Mr. Sabara'
