I started watching this show because the premise of a cooking anime was interesting (never seen one before). I immediately fell in love with the light and comedic storytelling of this show. There is hidden "drama", but it is never brought upon (example: Mukouda responsible for Fel in cities, but there is never any problem arising). This at least in season 1, I'll have to see from season 2 forward, but I hope they keep the same narrative structure.
This is just a simple show of a hungry, powerful wolf and his "chef", with some fantasy-deriving creatures, magic and lots of food.
Among the many intense shows around nowadays, this is one you can watch and finish the viewing with a smile, no matter the episode.

I've never been a huge anime fan, but Campfire Cooking changed that for me.
I'm currently watching the series for the 5th time, and it still gives me the same amount of happiness and joy as it did the first time I watched it. Watching Mukoda and company as their simple (or rather less than at times) adventure unfolds is the perfect thing to help one unwind after a long day. And of course, the food is amazing.
It doesn't matter to me how overpowered the main characters are, I honestly find it refreshing. Within the show, creativity abounds, and the art style and the food it creates is magical. The dialogue is enjoyable and well thought out as well.
If Campfire Cooking doesn't get a 2nd season, I along with many others I'm sure will be extremely disappointed. The world needs more shows just like this one, escapism has never been so delicious and light hearted!

As the title of the show suggests, it's a show mainly about cooking. But that doesnt take away from the usual adventure RPG-like theme isekai anime generally have. There are battles, but they dont drag on. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean the battles aren't fun to watch.
Is this harem? Nope.
Is this ecchi? Nope.
Is it violent? Has blood and death (they have to hunt food), but I would not describe it as gory.
Is it a romance anime? Nope. (I dont know if Season 2 has any romance) Is the story completed? As of writing this, the manga is still ongoing. Season 2 is still awaiting green light.
If you want to experience a chill adventure show, look no further! It's the first show I've grown to love so much that I went here to create an account just to give it a 10/10 rating in hopes to see a Season 2 in the near future. I usually don't care.

If you want a chill (slow), moderately funny, slide of life anime, revolving around cooking, then this Anime is for you. I recommend taking notes for this Anime, I didn't know that Japan had so many variety of delicious foods. The truly interesting thing about this Anime is the cooking and the dishes you can research later. It's entertaining and it cheers you up if you are in sa down mood. The action scenes are not very engaging since the main characters are overpowered, but that's expected on a Isekai. The animation is good. The characters are chill, my favorite was the slime (sui), is very cute and useful.

I really Loved the series, Mukohda was such a sweet character and I loved his personality, Fel was funny and Sui calling him Uncle Fel is hilarious to me. And as for Season 2 I really hope. Mukohda can...(I mean this in the best way) kinda grow a bit of a backbone and help kill the monsters because not gonna lie it kinda got annoying just seeing him standing there...even Sui is stronger than him, now for Fel I really hope he actually cares for Mukohda as a person and not only for his cooking because if he only love him for his cooking(his food looks amazing btw) that'll kinda tick me off a little. Sui has nothing to change because Sweet Slime ~w~
