First off, it's a comedy that has some good Kung Fu. It has a tone and structure unlike any film of this type that I've ever seen. The English dub (which I'm pretty sure is mostly done by Americans) feels very unusual compared to classic Kung Fu dubs but once you get used to it it's actually really funny, the music and the general style is just very different to anything else. This is a special and occasionally hilarious comedy homage to classic Kung Fu films. I think this film has been seriously overlooked - it even has some good gross out comedy as well. Although it is a comedy first, when it gets down to the fights they are well choreographed.
