Literally the best cinematic experience I've ever laid eyes upon.
The voice acting? Incredible! The animation? Jaw dropping! The soundtrack? Pure ear-gasm! The plot? Superb! The characters? Impeccable! The humour? Hilarious! All that you could be looking for in a theatrical film and then some! This movie changed my life. If you have not taken the chance to view this masterpiece, which is possible Greek cinema's Magnum Opus. I highly recommend it to anyone reading this. That scene where the main character, Karagiozis stated the phrase "It's Karagiozis time!" I literally started crying in the cinema, never has a single scene from a movie resonated with me as much as this one. Literally peak fiction.

The overall plot and content was quite loyal to the traditional shadow puppetry.
The landscape CGI was exceptional, but the characters' design was kinda drafty, doll-like, and their moves were noticeably poor.
The pace might be slow and many more things could happen during the running time.
The dubbing could have been done better, with more voice actors, but this was saved by the voices' originality to the traditional shows.
One major advantage was its humor. I could claim that the film's humor was way more similar to Spatharis's shows than many of the contemporary child-oriented performances are. It didn't deviate towards silly, unoriginal or cringy acts that only preschool kids would find funny. It could make all ages have lots of good laughs.
In general, it was a good movie. I enjoyed my time at the cinema. Children will love it, though some adults might not be satisfied enough.
(Sorry for not writing in Greek, but the platform doesn't support Greek letters yet)

A story based on one of the classic stories of Greek shadow-puppet theater "Karagkiozis the secretary". For first attempt at 3D animation the lighting, textures, colors look quite nice. Jokes were alright with a few bangers. Animation was a little slow but could be to immitiate the puppets movements. It lacks voice acting but that's intentional since in shadow theater one person voices all and they say so during the intro. All in all, this is a movie so I would prefer if everyone has his own voice in a sequel or series, for first animation it's quite good but there's always room for improvement.
Our kids could watch only first 20 min. They got bored. Even adults could not understand storyline. Awkward silences and unfunny dialogs was all I can remember. As if this movie was some kind of student exam project. Animatio. Alsi desires better quality, characters moves many times are unnatiral and need to be refined. The thing that surprises me - some one did gave apprival to this, some one said - this is good, no additional job is needed. I salute to this persons ignorance of quality and sence of style. Why do we, audience must go through this hell? Please, be more critical to final product you provide to audience!
2 years ago, the teaser trailer of this movie was announced on YouTube as the first 3d animated Greek movie based on the timeless Greek comedian character Karagiozis. I saw it on cinemas and boy it did NOT disappoint. The creators of this movie putted faith on how Karagiozi's fun character is as well as on the other crew characters like Karagiozi's sons, Xatzatzaris, Mparmpagiorgos and others. The jokes are funny, the animation is really alright, this is one of the movies that are not meant to have adventure, nor a villain, nor anything that brings the viewer anguish. It's a film that you relax watching it and enjoying beautifully your time. We need more karagiozis movies like this.
