For Thai BL fans, TayNew is not a new thing. Seeing them both in another BL series brings back the sweet memories of Pete & Kao from Dark Blue Kiss. This Thai adaptation of Cherry Magic from the original Japanese version really put TayNew's infamous chemistry to good use. Several changes was made in this version. Like how Achi (Adachi) doesn't have any senior who often ask for his help in the office. And also how Rock (Rokkaku) isn't Karan's (Kurosawa) assistant. He's actually closer to Achi than to Karan, which is the exact opposite of the original version. Also they made Pai (Miss Fujisaki) ended up with Rock. That was a sweet twist! Come to think of it, this Thai version of Cherry Magic is extra sweet and extra spicy. When Achi was gonna crash at his place, Karan's imagination was way naughtier than Kurosawa's. I feel like I'm getting diabetes after finished watching this series. I'm sure Cherry Magic's fans won't be disappointed with this adaptation.
For those that may not know, the basic plot is this: Shy and reserved Achi has turned 30 and discovers that he has been given the power to read people's minds when he touches them. Through this power, he inadvertently discovers that his extremely competent and handsome colleague, Karan, is in love with him. This results in some big changes in Achi's life.
It's worth comparing the Thai version to the Japanese version of this manga. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. The overall production values in the Japanese series are better as is the acting in general. But there is something incredibly charming about this series despite it being a bit rough in spots. (The three couples are all uniformly cute and have nice chemistry but still feel like friends rather than lovers). I think the new characters and relationships, the integration of the Thai culture into the plotline, and the positive messages inherent in the original story (e.g. Goodness and kindness are important traits in a love partner) all make the series worth watching.

As someone who has watched the Japanese series recently, as in finishing it right when this started airing, this series is a watch I couldn't miss out on!!
As the anime and Thai adaptations were being released at the same time, GMMTV had to put the series for Thai viewers only. But did that stop some of us? NO. I watched this on so many websites that I've lost count. I WANTED TO SEE TAYNEW!!! I finished watching the JP version, started the anime, and started this all at the same time. It felt like I had deja vu.. BUT That's okay because this story may just be a favorite of mine.
This story portrays Achi, a average office worker, who suddenly gains the power of mind reading with any physical contact at the age of 30. Karan, someone born with everything, right? Except being able to make the one he loves, fall for him. Until.. Achi bumps into Karan and suddenly hears his thoughts. Karan, the best worker, most handsome, most popular, is in love with him?
TayNew will never disappoint me honestly. No matter of I've seen all of their series or not, they are the IT couple!!! There weren't many side characters that made me upset, surprisingly..
The side couple, Jinta and Min, are CUTIES!! I loved that couple in the Japanese one and I do in this one!! Mark (Min) is just a cutie overall and I'm glad to see him on screen. Although at times, just like in the JP ver, I had to take a moment before continuing the scene.
This series overall was great, just like the Japanese series. If you need a wholesome love story, this is for you. I love TayNew and can't wait to see more series of them!!
P. S. The cat? CUTEST ONE OF ALL!!!!

Its been a day since I finished watching it and WOW. I don't think i can get over this drama any time soon. I mean, i just made an imdb acc just to rate this drama, that's how much I loved it. It was sweet, cute and everything I love in a drama. The chemistry between the actors was great too. I have not seen any of their drama before so their chemistry was definitely a pleasant surprise.
And the last Ep, the last Ep was definitely a cherry on top. I was not expecting that happening but boy was i glad.
So overall, one of the best bls released this year. I am sad it ended and I am going to miss ashi and karan so much.

I dont mean to be that person, but this is so much better than the JP version. Don't get me wrong, the JP one gave me tingles, but the Thai one is just top tier. The production, the acting, cinematography is really great. Each episode keeps getting better and better. The second couple, Jinta and Min, are killing it too. TayNew have always been my favourite BL couple and i was worried their onscreen chemistry had already fizzled out, since they hadnt acted together in a long time - so happy they proved me wrong.
This is a must watch and is a breath of fresh air from the trending 18+ BL series.

The remake of this series is truly impressive, especially with the addition of characters like Karan and Achi. Also the chemistry between Tay and New is palpable, adding a sweet touch to the storyline. The show's lighthearted yet heartfelt approach keeps viewers engaged. In summary, the remake of "Cherry Magic" successfully combines the palpable chemistry between Tay and New with the introduction of compelling characters like Karan and Achi. The delicate balance of lightheartedness and heartfelt moments, along with the sincere portrayal of relationships, makes it a truly impressive and engaging watch for fans of the romance genre.

I wonder if P'X's animal spirit is Eyass. It simply opens its beak wide to engulf masticated invertebrates fed by mama. While borrowing a story from a different language, one should consider sensibilities of the natives. This series excavated bones of a lost arctic world marking the second onset of PEBACA. I was more excited for the couple shipped by entire GMM nation, Sing-Jan. Whole story was filled with idealism, fluff and product endorsements that i couldn't watch any further after Ep2 without cringing. However POLCAS bathed in the holy cherry juice to their heart's content. Office environment has been extra dramatized portraying prying into personal matter of employee, unembarrassedly. I am extremely appeased with the cat however Junior-Mark is unpromising. Looks like 'Karan-Achi's efforts have finally made the bill pass (scoffing) Even though the production refrained from releasing it on official channel, i would thank those who helped me watch. Original work of 'Adachi' and 'Kurosawa' wasn't remarkable to begin with. Content Creation Team of this agency badly needs an overhaul.

At first, I thought it would be the same as in the JP series or from manga. As the series was released, it was able to include Thai culture in the series. Viewers were able to relate to each character. It starts with a light and funny series, but as the story develops, it shows us different characters and how the main characters help them (and each other) handle their personal issues, as well as work-related problems.
The actors, from the main ones to the supporting roles, all have amazing chemistry and showcased their acting talent viewers will relate and appreciate. Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom proved they are really amazing actors.
Overall, I recommend Cherry Magic TH to all viewers!
It's a feel-good series you will definitely enjoy!

Cherry Magic thai adaption is a kind of series where anyone of us can relate in a real life story.. Karan and Achi journey in love is like a rollercoaster which even us this thing do really happen in reality. Love is such a Magic that moves in mysterious way in them... But I really love how TAYNEW really shows their talent in this series and how versatile actor they are and the character their portrait really fits on them.. Can't wait for the another episode plot IM SO EXCITED.. Since Its was way slight different with the Japan adaptation.. but its ends up so good and cute at the same time.....

This series adaptation is one of the best ever produce from a BL series. The characters are not over the top, the actors are both pleasing to the eye, the location of are well executed. This series deserves to be on YouTube for international fans as well, to reach another level of viral as it deserves. Can't help but admire actors, the director and cinematography as well.
I have always liked TayNew as actors. But this series showed how much they are constantly improving and evolving, especially Tawan stuck my hearstrings as Karan. And New as Achi was just adorable and clumsy and both of them made me see them as characters as Achi Karan.
Honestly TayNew are TayNew man. They proved it with the series why they are one of GMMTV pillars.
