What will March bring to Netflix? Plenty of great TV shows, some killer recent and classic movies, and a slew of highly anticipated Netflix Originals.

First off, there's more amazing TV coming to Netflix in March than we've seen in the past six, with new seasons of "Mad Men," "Glee," and "Archer" coming to the streaming service. What's more? The complete series of "3rd Rock From the Sun" (Yes!) and "A Different World" are also being added. For the latter, I plan on queueing up some "very special episodes" that remind me of my childhood. Also, Marisa Tomei was on it. Remember?! In addition to the shows you know, some spankin' new Netflix Originals are being added: Tina Fey's half-hour comedy "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," starring "The Office's" Ellie Kemper, and "Bloodline," a dramatic thriller starring Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek.

I kid, I kid, but I’m also kind of serious. When someone mentions Tyler Perry, it’s only fair to think of him dressing up in old lady drag, bible thumping, and moralizing about how women shouldn’t open their legs for any good looking dude like they are a 24-hour Golden Corral. (Seriously, did you see Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor? Way to send a message to women that if they are not faithful, they’re going to get AIDS and everyone will hate them. Ugh!)

But here’s the thing: Ty Ty isn’t the owner of these kinds of movie tropes, so it’s about time we stop acting like it and recognize other movies that rely on these storytelling motifs. For example:

Emile Hirsch ("Into the Wild," "Lone Survivor") is set to star in "Just Jim," directorial debut of "Submarine" and "Neighbors" actor Craig Roberts, which begins filming in Wales this week.

Rapper Iggy Azalea is set to cameo in the upcoming seventh "Fast and Furious" film at Universal Pictures. Vin Diesel revealed the news during an interview with France's Skyrock FM. Diesel said:

Dom Hemingway I quite enjoyed Dom Hemingway if only for Jude Law's brash performance, but it seems others weren't as taken with it as I was. I will say this, you can do a lot worse when it comes to rentals or even purchases this week so give this one a shot, I think you'll like it.

Witness for the Prosecution One film I feel any cinema fan will certainly enjoy is Witness for the Prosecution and my dumb ass was too slow on the uptake when Kino sent out notice they were releasing a new Blu-ray edition of the film so I missed out on a review copy. Directed by Billy Wilder this is a film that will one day be in my Best Movies section, check it out.

Blue Ruin Solid movie, though I can't help but feel people got a little too carried away in their praise.

Crews, an actor, former NFL player and Old Spice pitchman, will join the weekday game show starting this fall, according to its studio, Disney-abc Domestic Television. He replaces comedian Cedric The Entertainer, who's hosting the show in its 12th season in national syndication. Crews has been a regular this season on the freshman Fox sitcom "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." His films include Tyler Perry's "The Single Moms Club" and Ivan Reitman's "Draft Day." His first book, "Manhood," will be out this month. That's down three percent year-to-year, and off 15 percent from 2012's record $943 million.For the first quarter of 2014, domestic box office totaled $2.4 billion. That's up five percent from 2013, but down from 2012, 2010 and 2009.300: Rise of an Empire opened on the first weekend of March, and won the month with $101.4 million. That's nowhere close to its predecessor, which had earned $181 million through the same point (and much more when adjusting for ticket price changes). Still, it's doing strong business overseas, and should ultimately be a success for Warner Bros.In second place, young-adult adaptation Divergent earned just over $96 million in its first 11 days. That's not on par with Twilight or The Hunger Games, but is strong enough that Summit is going to move forward aggressively with their sequel plans.Mr. Peabody & Sherman wasn't far behind with $95.1 million.
