Her Cry: La Llorona Investigation

What in the amateur hour, non actor, no script, make it up as you go hell did I just sit through? There are a lot of dirt cheap found footage horror films that work, this one does not. This may be the worst "movie" ( I'm being generous by calling it that) that I've ever watched. Truly, laughably horrible. Those responsible for this should never be allowed to film anything again under penalty of law, not even kid's birthdays - they'd find a way to ruin the day.

The movie starts out somewhat promising and then falls apart almost immediately. Most of the movie takes place in one location which is not at all interesting. I think it might be the director's house. The story, such as it is, is a boring mess that meanders here and there without much direction. The characters are not terribly interesting. The dialogue is bad when you can even hear it. The sound mixing is terrible. Often, the music is so loud that it drowns out the dialogue. The ending is so badly shot and the sound mixing is so bad that I am not sure what was supposed to have even happened. And they were never seen again or something. It has the nerve to end on a sequel hook.

This movie is just a slog to get through.
