MAGNIFICENT. As a lifetime Cinema cinema goer and viewed on Prime Video, it is the most realistic and brilliantly acted movie I have seen in recent years. World War2 in Russia conveys the horrors of those events, that at times will bring tears to your eyes. I will remember this remarkable film for ever. Derek da Costa

This story was shown in 12 episodes on Prime, and it is worth every minute. Excellent story, amazing actors, beautiful music & photography. At times I stopped "watching" the movie and just "looked at" the amazing acting, beautiful settings and photography,and the beautiful music. The battle scenes are the best I've ever seen. They look like newsreels. (I think some are real WWII film.) The acting is fabulous. The stories are heart-breaking. Worth watching again.
