I just want to clarify that Some people who write these reviews are really stupid. Someone says that it is weird that the movie is in English. The movie is in the dutch language ofcourse. It is just dubbed for weird people who want to watch it in English hahaha. Think a bit more please:) The movie itself was entertaining but very predictible and i feel like you could've done way more. I don't think they have a high budget so I don't really blame them. It is fun to watch of you are Belgian/Dutch because you Will understand the slang and culture bit more, especially if you're a teenager. It was not great but fun to watch.

There was one important nuance that has made this movie about an imminent and predictable collapse of a get-rich-quick-scheme special and orders of magnitude more enjoyable than your typical crypto scam story:
the dude who pointed out halfway through the story how all these self deemed crypto evangelists are harmful to the space and they should read the Bitcoin Standard and study some economics to recognise the Ponzi they got stuck up in.
Props to the writers for adding this, otherwise the film was suitable for a pastime.
Moral of the story: DYOR, invest in Bitcoin, self custody and cut out the noise.

The story: eager to make a quick buck, a guy invests in crypto and in the end looses all of his money. The end. Does this sound exciting to you?
The bad: supposedly a drama, which it is most definitely not, but what is more annoying that it fails to become gripping or even the slighliest suspenseful. The story just toddles along...
This story has NO surprises, NO originality, NO good dialogues and NO interesting characters, although I must admit the unknown actors werent doing a terrible job, but the synchronisation of their voices was completely out of sync and really annoying to watch.
What were the producers of this movie thinking? Let's make some quick bucks with a catchy subject (crypto) and hope people will go see it? What a dud it turned out to be. Not terrible, but quite uneventful and tedious.

In a year brimming with cinematic ventures, this film emerges as a glaring misstep. Under the helm of Shady El-Hamus, it attempts to sail the stormy seas of cryptocurrency through the whimsical journey of a young aspirant. However, it capsizes into mediocrity, never to resurface.
The plot unfolds with predictability, lacking the nuanced understanding of the digital economy it wishes to explore. Set against the quaint backdrop of Amsterdam, it navigates the simplistic tale of a young man charmed by the digital gold rush, yet fails to delve into the underlying intricacies of digital currency scams, where we for example have big time influencers like Logan Paul who scammed millions of dollars off his own users and still to this day have not been brought to justice.
The performances are a medley of over-acted expressions and flat characters. The cast, though seemingly capable, is bogged down by a hollow screenplay and dialogues that lack resonance. The intended emotional drama falls flat, turning the viewing experience into a tiresome endeavor.
The film's attempt to tackle the modern-day issue of digital currency scams barely scratches the surface, leaving the audience in a quagmire of disbelief. The characters' journey through the digital deception landscape lacks depth and understanding of the crypto realm.
The superficial treatment of a profound subject matter makes it a regrettable investment of time for those in search of a meaningful narrative. It stumbles on the potential to delve into the compelling narrative that the crypto world presents, delivering a mundane tale veiled in a thin cloak of digital intrigue.
It miserably fails to capitalize on the cryptocurrency narrative, marking it as a cinematic letdown of 2023. The lack of originality in the screenplay and the volatile performances echo the erratic nature of a dubious Initial Coin Offering (ICO). The detachment from reality leaves the audience traversing a barren narrative landscape in search of value.
In closing, the film serves as a stark reminder of how not to traverse the complex domain of cryptocurrency in cinema. Its lackluster execution and uninspiring narrative land it in the annals of forgettable cinema of 2023.

This film shows you real characters that struggles with situations that could happen to everyone, its about a father and his young son that runs a restaurant and the temptations in life. I really enjoy it, acting was good, storyline was good...sometimes it would have been nice if it would have a little more debt in the characters, but overal it was a real decent flick and wayt better then 90% of the garbage from USA, it feels real and straightforward, like the dutch are..giving this movie a 1 is just an insult. Its a family drama, and the subject is a nice reminder that lots of money is usually to good to be true and is a nice warning not to invest so easy in crypto platforms, most are just to make sure you will lose every penny you have.
