Though Fitzgerald was best-known as the Oscar-nominated dramatic actress in such classic films as "Wuthering Heights," "Dark Victory" and "Arthur," she had a great stage success with her singing cabaret act, which played three successful engagements in New York, as well as around the country, under the title Streetsongs."
