- When Jesus, his faithful companion, goes missing, Virendra - a reclusive ex-convict, suffering from PTSD - pushes away the only person that truly cares about him and searches the frozen landscape for answers.
- Having lost everything he ever loved suffering from PTSD and recently released from prison after serving a long sentence, Virendera welcomes the quiet and solitude of his secluded cabin in the Himalayan Mountains. But he is not as alone as it seems. A stray dog has already taken up residence in the cabin and despite being incredibly cautious of the new owner, he shows no intention of leaving. Despite his aversion towards caring for anything ever again, Virendra wins the dog's trust and loyalty, eventually naming him after a major source of his deepest heartbreak - Jesus. Even through the long, cold nights of unceasing nightmares, Jesus stays with him. Even as he tries to lead a normal life making friends with the local Butcher, Salman, experimenting with drugs and engaging the services of local prostitutes - Jesus becomes Virendra's entire reason for living. He observes the strange behavior of his new newest neighbors - a lesbian couple, Dolly and Sanjana - that seems strangely familiar - but steers clear of them at all cost. Jesus however, takes a keen interest in them, and doesn't come home one night. When you love something so much and place all your faith in it, what happens if it gets taken away? As Virendra searches for his missing Jesus, Dolly knocks on his door, asking for help. This time, Virendra lets her in to his home, but what she has to tell him, drives him to the edge. Why is it that everything he ever loves, get taken away from him?—Nicole Sottung
