In one of the flashback scenes, director Jim DeVault, who was also acting in the scene, was stunt double for Steven N. Russell. Since their wardrobe was similar, they simply switched coats, and they doubled for one another for the shot with the stunt. At age 57, DeVault saved the shot for the end of the day "just in case," but the stunt was completed without injury.
