This remake of Project Zero 2 features two new endings - the Frozen Butterfly and Shadow Festival endings - as well as at least two new cutscenes. This is the reason why Project Zero 2: Wii Edition is the first game in the series to feature British voice actors.
Following Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen, the Camera Obscura for Project Zero 2: Wii Edition uses a time-based charging system, while the original was based on proximity.
Only released in Japan and in PAL areas (Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa).
