Little Nino van Doorn (8) happily grows up in the all-male tribe of his near-lethargic father Bruno, who never gets over the death of quiet housemother Maria, with wild but awesome big brother Lucas and his rascal buddies. The boys live in a world of their own, for Nino with 'talking' pet bunny Bobby in a main role. This boyish anarchy in harmony is threatened when a social services officer focuses on them, even has cameras installed, and Lucas accidentally causes a near-fatal crash.
