Shayne Ward was a popstar before he decided to go into acting. He is now an actor and singer.

Shayne Ward, Catherine Tyldesley and Claire Sweeney have all appeared in the soap opera Coronation Street as series regulars. Ward as Aiden Connor, Tyldesley as Eva Price and Sweeney as Cassie Plummer. Claire Sweeney is the only one of the three currently starring in Coronation Street.

Although each episode is set in a different port in the Mediterranean, all of the footage on land is filmed on the islands of Malta and Gozo, where the local government give generous tax break to production companies.scenes supposedly in Barcelona or Rome are all filmed in Malta.

Another Channel 5 series, The Madame Blanc Mysteries is also filmed on Malta and Gozo, despite being set in France.

Claire Sweeney is an actress and singer. Her first singing gig was at the age of 14 in the Montrose Club in Liverpool, for which she was paid £25. She has since appeared in multiple musical theatre productions. Her first major television role was in Brookside as Lindsey Corkhill.
