It's always disappointing to come across a movie that is clearly devoid of originality and creativity, and unfortunately, this movie is good example.
From start to finish, the movie appeared to be a mixture of ideas taken from other, more successful films. It was as if the filmmakers had thrown together a bunch of scenes from various movies and hoped that no one would notice the lack of originality.
The plot was so predictable that it was almost laughable. Every twist and turn could be seen coming from a mile away, and it felt like the filmmakers weren't even trying to surprise the audience. How can someone not know about their house they are living, did they order their house from amazon?

Me and my girlfriend watched this tonight I will tell u horrible horrible movie I have not seen terrible acting like this since the tower. Would never reccomend but we did get a great deal of laughs the running scenes in this movie were beyond hilarious 😂 we now are making a new Hobbie out of this we are gonna find a list of terrible movies and pic out the funniest parts of the movies we watch. I want to thank everyone that was involved in the making of this. I will also say that we did get the best five minutes of acting out of the detective though congratulations on being the best part of it.
This Lifetime movie was predictable and disappointing. It centers on a mother and daughter who move into a new home and begin to hear lots of noises within its walls and things that move and go bump in the night. Ghosts? So, they ask the previous owner about it. He chalks it up to being in a new house and getting used to it. Trouble is he's still attached to the house and is having a hard time giving it up. This plot is old and overused and there are lots of Lifetime movies with this backstory. I was expecting more here but the wooden acting and plot twist in the final minutes couldn't save this movie. I don't recommend and say Skip it.
I watched this movie purely to kill time in the afternoon. The storyline is very run-of-the-mill. What really put me off is the lack of depth in the characters. They all sound as if reading their lines just for the sake of it. The mother-daughter relationship is way too shallow. And the character of the boyfriend played by the actor is, again, very in-your-face. The plot had some potential, but unfortunately, got ruined by a whole lot of bad acting. Watch this movie only if you're stuck at the airport, or have free time in your hands that you wish to kill. My condolences to the director and all the actors involved.
I never watch Lifetime movies but a rainy Saturday led me to this. With a couple of exceptions (the detective and the daughter), the acting was terrible, especially by the mother. Not only did the writers make her character very dumb, they also stole a line, almost verbatim, from Seinfeld: "You like him, like him?" "What are you, in high school?" If I were Larry David, I would check into that.
There were a few suspenseful moments (knocking sounds in the middle of the night), but once she found furniture moved around in the morning, she still didn't call the authorities?
Bottom line, don't bother to waste your time. Keep channel surfing.
