I LOVE Kitchen Nightmares. It's a guilty pleasure of mine and I've seen every episode a zillion times. When I saw this on Tubi, I thought it was just a Kitchen Nightmares rip off and would be some ex military guy who yells at everyone like a drill sergeant. The first episode had an introduction from Gordon Ramsay himself, so that was a positive start.
I had never heard of Chef Andre Rush, but he was not at all like I imagined. He comes across as a really caring and down to earth guy. Like Gordon did, he works on not just the restaurant and food, but changing people as well.
I'm only a few episodes in but am enjoying this. He is certainly different from Gordon Ramsay, but I am kind of enjoying this almost as much.
I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. I hope the ratings are good and Tubi make a lot more episodes.

I absolutely LOVE this show! As a self proclaimed "FOODIE", and Food Network fan, I was looking forward to watching this show. I loved Chef Ramsey, but Chef Rush really puts a different spin on things for me. Chef Rush does an outstanding job of holding these owners/ managers accountable for their actions. He shows out when/if necessary, but is quick to step in and get everyone on track. Chef Rush seems to be knowledgeable, professional, and down to earth! His food looks AMAZING, and I look forward to him sharing some recipes in the future. It's such a refreshing show! I'm looking forward to visiting some of these restaurants to see if they listened to all of the great advice.

Kitchen nightmare spinoffs or the original have been an occasional guilty pleasure, but this show I quit mid-season it was so bad. The slapdash quick-fix formula here got old fast w/viewers' time wasted in every episode having to listen to his 4 P's. Rolls eyes
Instead of learning from restaurants' mistakes, they are quick-fixed and little time is spent on the actual cooking and recipes that are to save them. I didn't see one restaurant worth saving in the 5-6 EP's I watched.
There was nothing unique or redeeming in any of the restaurants I saw to make them worthy of saving other than someone's life's savings was about to go down the toilet.
