Pakistani cinema is now moving to the right direction. Minds behind Swaarangi proved that now filmmakers from Pakistan are not afraid of experiments & finding new ways of story telling.
Swaarangi story revolves around poor family. All characters acted brilliantly. The best part is unpredictable which was lack in previous movies from Pakistan.
Resham did the film after 9 years & she choose right role for herself. Newbies Waseem & Naveed acted so brilliantly that no one can guess that this is their first silver screen project.
Ayub Khosa nobody can beat his experience & stature. Whenever he comes at screen he captured all the attention of the audience.
Last sequence which is without dialogue is compiled amazingly. Best use of symbolism & expressions.
Must watch.

I went to the special screening without any expectations. As the story progresses it creates involvement of audience which remains there till end. Pakistani filmmakers are doing their best to create new ways of story telling with modern technology. Story revolves around a poor family who live in rural area of Pakistan. Characters Salma, Zaryaab & Jamaly acted brilliantly. Child stars also performed very well. I went to the movie without any expectation so it was a great treat for me & friends. Swaarangi give a hint that director has painter's eye cause composition of frames especially in landscape are amazingly done. Strongly recommended. Surprisingly engaging.
