When you hear about an indie horror film that calls itself “Don’t Make A Sound,” you might expect it to be a low-budget ripoff of the Quiet Place series, but it is not. The reason the central characters of this story can’t make a sound is not because of killer aliens, but simply a killer person.
The setup is a classic one: the middle of nowhere, a deranged killer, no other means of assistance. A nameless woman is driving across the country, taking her ten-year-old sister to stay with relatives after the passing of their mother. But then, one nasty run of bad luck occurs: their car breaks down, and the only way to seek help is to venture into the vast forest.
