The series premiered on April 14, 2023 and is currently airing in Japan, while Netflix has the distribution rights for the series for the internatinoal market. As of the time of writing, 47 episodes have been released in Japan, while Netflix subscribers can watch the first 12 episodes as of the time of writing, but a second batch of episodes finally has a release date, which is set for May 10, 2024.

Barraskewda was only seen in a miniseries, making its appearance more limited compared to other Galar Pokémon.
