A very pleasant yet raw representation of deciding between having a child or getting an abortion. I loved how this picture managed to capture a lot of perspectives from different people on this issue - we have the protagonist who never wanted children, the boyfriend who thought he had not wanted children but now changed his mind, the friend who always wanted children and the mother who never thought being childless is an option. Every character is actually challenged in their believes in different ways and that contributed to the fact that Mamifera kept me interested for the whole of its runtime. The story itself analyses a very contemporary issue and very present-day feelings of not just women but also men. I also appreciated the dream-like scenes that represent the thoughts and emotions of the protagonist, that are made as moving collages because it reflected her point of view on world and life as she is a collage artist - I like how that aspect was incorporated into the picture.
