Don't believe the 6+ Imdb rating, the series crews must have upvoted it. The series is so bad, there is no story, suspense, mystery or horror. Just plain 7 episodes !!

8 hours of my life wasted, wondering is it going to get any better? No, it didn't and became less believable as the series went on. Poor acting, badly cast and rubbish story.

This is not what I normally expect from French series. It's filmed in Switzerland, but the town is on the French border. It is a unique story. The main character is completely unlikable initially. She's rude and harsh and takes a minute to get used to, but she softens up as the season progresses. The supernatural element is not overboard, but is a big part of it. It builds up. The scenery is incredibly beautiful. It's good way to spend a rainy weekend.

This story may actually have worked, if they had found a cast that could actually act.
The main character, in particular, made me think I was watching a wooden stringed puppet.
That, and the strange pauses when in the midst of some urgent scene, rendered the thing sadly unsatisfying.

Very good, took a while to get into it but it was intriguing. Such a change from crime drama. Hope there is a 2nd Series. Both husband and myself enjoyed the spooky drama. The acting was very good, especially the son Lucas. I thought all the actors played well.it must have been difficult in the snow.

Undoubtedly, there were some aspects of this production that deserved praise. The lead character was not from the woke generation. For once, not the all-conquering superwoman who could do it all on her own. Far from it, her vulnerability was refreshing and unpretentious. The overall premise too, was quite compelling, as it teasingly dipped in and out of the supernatural world and appeared to contain a story worth telling.
That said, not much of it was executed in a believable manner, or with any real panache.
There was a lingering feeling that at some point it would catch fire, and deliver some shocking, suspenseful moment, or at least a surprise twist. Sadly, a limp ending was about as surprising as it ever got. - 6.8/10.
