Yaroslav Kozak in The Nose (2012)

Crazy credits

The Nose

Edit

Most of the film length are titles and credits.

End credits include such in-jokes as:

  • Editor... What editor? Ahm that's too Mykola Yeriomin.
  • Composer escaped (referring to the absence of music in the film). After that credit everything fades to black for a few seconds, suggesting that the film ended, but suddenly credits continue.
  • Stuntman - Askold Tutylopydirskiy. There are no stunts in the film, but Askold Tutylopydirskiy is a recurring unseen character in Mykola Yeriomin's fiction.
  • Vasya - Yaroslav Kozak. Vasya - is a short form of the name Vasili(y) and a name of his character, Dyadya (Uncle) Vasya, but it's also sometimes referred as a slang word to some kind of amateur everyman who's not known by name (e.g. Vasya with a blowtorch while there is a bad blowtorch work and no one knows who's the author).
  • Fool - A.Tutylopydirskiy (Askold Tutylopydirskiy character, which appears in most of Mykola Yeriomin works and planned to be in all of them).
  • Scapegoat - Dj.Stolen (J. Stolen, a reference to the fact that this name is an indicator of archive footage used.
