A title missing from IMDb for a full two decades (I just added it to the database), "Portrait of Sunrise" is a vehicle for then newly-minted Vivid contract star Sunrise Adams. It's merely sex scenes slapped together by disinterested director Chi Chi LaRue, pretending to be a feature.
She's stares vacantly at the camera, with fake "windblown hair" effect and is presented as an artist's model posing for teacher Lee Stone's art class. Other characters talk briefly about her, but the show would have played about as well with no dialogue or pretense of storytelling.
A completely irrelevant lengthy sequence has Vivid superstar Savanna Samson stripping in a nightclub to set up a foursome involving her, Randy Spears (doing his foot-fetish thing), and the couple Voodoo and Nicole Sheridan.
A silly scene, out of the blue, has Evan Stone chatting with Nikki Fairchild about the pretty model (Sunrise) in class as a prelude to them making love -a pointless attempt to connect this scene with the rest of the movie.
