As I sat down to watch "Til Death Do Us Part", I had not heard about the movie. The movie was listed as a horror comedy, and that was essentially what made me sit down to watch it. Well, that and the fact that it was a movie that I hadn't already seen.
This movie was a swing and a miss. I got no enjoyment or entertainment out of the storyline, and it was a really difficult movie to sit through. In fact, I managed to endure a staggering, and utterly boring, 50 minutes of the 109 minutes runtime, then I just gave up out of sheer and utter boredom. Writers Chad Law and Shane Dax Taylor really failed to compile something that caught my interest, much less entertained me.
The acting performances in the movie were fair enough, despite the fact that the script and storyline was a dumpsterfire and provided zero entertainment. Of the entire cast ensemble, then I was only familiar with Cam Gigandet and Orlando Jones.
"Til Death Do Us Part" is not a movie that I will recommend anyone to waste their time, money or effort on. Some of us suffered through this ordeal, in greater or smaller parts, so you don't have to. Nor is it a movie that I will ever return to attempt finish watching, because I simply don't care about the storyline or characters, nor did I find anything entertaining about the ordeal.
The best thing about the movie was the movie's cover/poster.
My rating of director Timothy Woodward Jr.'s 2023 movie lands on a generous two out of ten stars.
