Pointless remake is completely pointless: version one billion and an half

Let's say this series starts well enough, albeit with a main character that is not particularly likeable but whatever. The fights are well coreographed, the tiny bit of plot that is there is a bit interesting, and then...then all of the sudden the people who made this totally and completely lost the ideas because apparently they thought that doubling down on already copious and overdone childish sex jokes (don't believe the people who tell you this is an "adult" tokusatsu, it's the most immature one I've ever seen period) was a good move, which it wasn't unless you're the kind of people who thinks Deadpool is the greatest character to ever be created and Garth Ennis is the greatest comic book writer of all times. Oh, and there are also sprinkles of sexism that I would have never thought to be seen in a new version that is supposed to be a completely different take on the original Lion Maru series, not an homage to it like the Zaborgar movie. The best this awful series (that I wasn't even able to finish) accomplishes at the end is to give the viewer the interest in getting into the original Kaiketsu Lion Maru Tokusatsu since the clips in the intro taken from that one look like thirty times more interesting and with better costumes than this series is on the whole. Avoid with no remorse whatsoever.
