Jordan Peele said in January 2024 that this could be his favorite of his movie as long as he "makes it right."
Universal Pictures announced in March 2023 that this would open in theaters on Christmas Day this year (Dec. 25, 2024), where it would've gone up against the likes of "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" and "Nosferatu" at the box office, but the movie has since been pulled from the calendar due to strike-related delays in development. A new release date has not been announced, although 2025 seems likely.
