WHY is an undercover cop doing tv interviews? Talking about cases and roles she played. And having tv journalists accompanying stings??? All this seems to basically nullify your career as undercover cop.
This was a good episode, but one thing that suddenly bothers me is...the first season or two has training officers being strict to ensure new cops have standards and keep themselves and others safe. But Nolan's boot seems to have zero rules or discipline as a junior ranking officer. She just rambles around by emotional turbulence. Alarmist to the point of impeding police work. And everyone is just happy to let her do and say what she wants. Don't get me wrong, her character is interesting and how they handled it in the beginning was good. But now, it just seems laughable. She is a trainee, not an expert that gets to question and challenge everyone and everything in an emotional anxiety. And to run the investigation on things that clearly are a conflict and beyond her ability to do her job right. This is a writing a director issue ,NOT an actress issue. As she plays it well given what she's asked to do.

The people behind this series have made several mistakes this year, to the point I wonder if it will be renewed.
The first mistake was to introduce the highly irritating character who moved on to the FBI show, which is a bad show all by itself.
The second mistake was to do the crossovers where if we want to see the end of a Rookie episode, we have to watch the painful FBI spinoff.
The third mistake is the new rookie partner. She's not as annoying as the FBI agent, but it's close. So what do they do? Often feature her to the hilt, including in this episode.
That leaves out that very little about this episode matches the smell test. The way this crime is solved is utterly unbelievable.

Sorry but I have been trying to like her as a character but I just can't. Neither my wife and I like her. She comes off as a know it all and annoying.
She is almost as annoying as the Simone'scharacter. Which to me was a disaster of a show. My wife and I couldn't even get past 10 mins of the show.
I truly hope they write her off in someway in the future and get a new character. For next season at least. If they renew it anyway. Which I hope they I absolutely love the show otherwise. Beside the occasional documentary series show which I don't normally like.
It was a good episode otherwise for the most part.

This was an emotionally charged episode. It was interesting, had some suspense and the actress playing Celina did a good job. Her last scene with her mom was excellent, as that actress is very good too.
Still, I wanted to see more interaction among Celina and Nolan. He was basically the one solving the case and Celina never even said thanks. I felt that was wrong. Also, the girl who talks with ghosts and has amazing instincts, never suspected anything about the truth? She should at least have a self-doubt filled moment. Anyways, the episode is a good one, just it could have been better with only a little more effort.
