Donnie Wahlberg is set to return to Investigation Discovery with a brand-new season of the gripping true crime docuseries Very Scary People, starting production on eight new episodes this week.

Hosted and executive produced by Wahlberg, the series offers an expansive look into society’s most evil minds, revealing unprecedented insight into their twisted crimes through rare in-depth interviews and remarkable archival footage.

Donnie Wahlberg’s “Very Scary People” is returning for Season 6 on Investigation Discovery, with production on eight new episodes kicking off this week, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

The true crime docuseries, which is hosted and executive produced by Wahlberg, offers an expansive look into society’s most evil minds, revealing unprecedented insight into their crimes through rare in-depth interviews and archival footage.

Stories to be featured this season include that of Scott Kimball, a serial killer who was able to roam freely and undetected for six years while acting in the guise of an FBI informant; Clarence Heatley, a diabolical kingpin who ran a multi-million-dollar drug operation marked by dozens of vicious murders; and David Matusiewicz, the mastermind behind a warped family unit in which he conspired to kidnap his own kids and unleashed a deadly, pernicious campaign against his ex-wife.

Bryan Moore has crafted bronze busts of Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe (to name a few), and the lattermost of those creations was unveiled at the Boston Public Library back in 2014. With the library's remodeled Johnson building opening its doors this Saturday, fans will soon be able to gaze upon Moore's incredible bronze bust of Poe, and new photos show what people can expect to see while browsing for their next read.

Press Release: The Edgar Allan Poe bronze bust will soon be on display for public viewing in the newly renovated Johnson building at the Boston Public Library’s Central Library in Copley Square, following the building’s grand reopening ceremony on July 9th.

The bust was formally unveiled and donated to the library on October 30, 2014, the plan being that its final placement would indeed be alongside many other fine busts in the library's vast art collection in the Johnson building.

UKTV has penned a deal with Sky to bring Watch, Gold, Dave and Alibi to the broadcaster's On Demand service.

Starting today, content from UKTV's channels are available to Sky+HD customers to watch whenever they want.

On top of being able to view conventional catch-up from UKTV, show box-sets including the likes of Red Dwarf X, Murdoch Mysteries and Boston's Finest will all be added to On Demand.

These box-sets will be added in the coming weeks.

It's been a devastating week for the crew of TNT reality show Boston's Finest and the Boston Police Department after an officer featured on the series allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Donnie Wahlberg's reality series Boston's Finest is to air on Watch in the UK.

Wahlberg - who stars in CBS cop drama Blue Bloods - executive produces the eight-part unscripted reality series.

Boston's Finest follows the actions of the entire Boston Police Department, including patrol officers, detectives, special task forces and members of the Swat team, the Fugitive Unit and highly decorated Gang Unit.

"Watch aspires to deliver out-of-the-ordinary, gripping entertainment," said the channel's general manager Steve Hornsey.

"I'm confident that this series, which offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the often dramatic lives of Boston's police officers, is exactly the type of content our viewers are hungry for and I'm delighted Watch fans will get to see it here first in the UK."

Boston's Finest will debut on Watch in August.

The 43-year-old singer and actor is returning to his pop star past with New Kids On The Block's just-released record "10" and tells HuffPost Canada Music that making the album was a labor of love unlike any other in the group's three-decade span.

"When we were young we were all about dating girls and having fun," he says. "It's like we've stopped having sex and started making love. That's where we're at as a group now — this is what we do, we love what we do and we're in love with what we do… so it makes making love all the more special!

"I enjoy every aspect more now than as a kid — performing, recording, touring. I feel more at ease and confident, which is saying a lot because it's a young man's game."
