Into the Light

The book was better than the 2. Half of the season ,for the first time they slept after the engament party more impressive than the show, i didn't feel Colin's big love to Penelope,he was angry and upset same in the book but he never wanted to be apart from her,it's like he was forced to marry and Quenn's approval was important . I wish they had more screen times, they have big chemistry. I did not like Francesca and Benedict storylines. First part of the season I watch over and over again but second half no, Finale part would have been better writing,Polin'slove scenes should have been more,. Greetings from Turkiye.

This season, especially this episode, is for the women everywhere who have ever felt overlooked, undervalued and have the greatest ambition for themselves. This episode hit me square in the chest with its earnestness and sharpness. Penelope is perhaps the most dynamic and stiff backed character in modern depictions of the female archetype.

From cinematography to character development; this episode creates space for characters and families to explore the complexities of self. I am overjoyed to see the adaptation of these lovely books to a beloved series that I will be watching and rewatching. X.

I really cant understand why this season is incredibly high rated. The second part of the season was boring and endless. There is just so much stuff going on. Too many paralell stories and it just lost focus on what was important, Penelope and Colin.

They truly need to focus on stay loyal to the books and just give the fans what they want. I really liked the first part, so watching the second one was a big big let down.

Really hope for next season for them to just focus on one couple and give them the recognition they deserve, I really felt that Penelope and Colin were misappreciated and they didnt explode all their potencial as a couple.

Hope it changes for the show good.

In my opinion, this has to be the strongest season of Bridgerton. Season 1 was decent, 2 was ok but 3 has been the belle of the ball. It showed growth of certain characters, story development with Lady Whistledown and some good other matches. The season was first captivated with Penelope trying to find an eligible suitor and Colin and Pen advancing their romance. I kind of thought this would be the direction at some point but never thought it would be this season and it also was well done. We finally see Penelope 'seen' and acknowledged by her own mother and off course the revelation of the real Lady Whistledown.

I would give this a 10 had it not been for the random plots that took away from Penelope and Colin. We had 5x more random sex scenes with Benedict than the main characters? What even was the point of that? 86 scenes with the Mondriches??? I feel like they're trying too hard to add content to the seasons. The first scene had the perfect balance of main characters and side plot. The second season also did a great job. This season... it felt disjointed. Maybe it's because the show is extremely popular and they're trying to milk it for all it's worth but.... It just didn't seem cohesive. That being said, I loved most of this season and hope they continue to give us great romance. Give us more Polin.
