Cannibal Mukbang

After recently listening to Tina Horn and Empress Wu talk about almost exactly what this movie claims to be, I was shocked by its brilliance when a day later I had a chance to see it. If you don't know what Mukbang is, it's the act of watching people eat online. You can guess where this is going. I was more than blown away by what director Aimee Kuge pulled off here. Great effects and great acting across the board. It gave almost a Miskatonic vibe, much like Suitable Flesh, but based in realism. There aren't a lot of people that have the guts to tackle these kind of subjects and still make it brutally fun. Get into it.
