S.W.A.T. fans have been through the wringer during the show’s eight seasons. Is it canceled? Or is it renewed? Do we know? Does CBS?
S.W.A.T is back for now, but some things are different. The new 20-Squad isn’t your grandparents’ version of S.W.A.T. How do viewers like the new look and the younger squad?
It works, but is it as good as it once was?

I promise this isn’t a Toby Keith song. It’s a breakdown of how the S.W.A.T Season 8 is stacking up on what we’re certain (almost) will be the show’s last run.
Classic television shows like S.W.A.T., Hawai’i Five-o, Magnum, P.I., and Quantum Leap intrigue viewers across generational gaps.
The idea of a tough, highly-tuned police division keeping order in one of the country’s toughest cities has appealed to audiences for decades, starting in 1975. However, the...

While Criminal Minds has been back for two seasons in the rebooted Criminal Minds: Evolution, one character who finished out the regular series has been mysteriously missing. Several characters left the series early, but Matthew Gray Gubler was part of the cast til the end. With that said, he wasn’t on the team when the show returned.
The characters have hinted at him, but no one has said where he is or why he isn’t there. The showrunner for the rebooted series, Erica Messer, has at least explained where he is in real life.
Why Isn’t Matthew Gray Gubler On Criminal Minds: Evolution?
It seemed strange when Matthew Gray Gubler wasn’t part of the cast when Criminal Minds: Evolution premiered. Everyone else who was a major cast member of the previous show returned, but Spencer Reid was nowhere to be found, and the only explanation...

During the peak of her career, Britney Spears worked with the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am and created one of her worst songs ever. Somehow, that led to more collaborations between Spears and the rapper that took the “Womanizer” singer‘s career in the wrong direction. While the press has become more sympathetic to Spears, her career never recovered from those Will.i.am collaborations.
Britney Spears and Will.i.am made 1 of the worst songs of the 2010s together
Both during his time with the Black Eyed Peas and his solo career, Will.i.am wrote many vapid, annoying songs. Many of those vapid, annoying songs were very successful. Regardless, as the 2010s wore on, Will. i.am’s sound seemed more and more passe. Sadly, Spears worked with him during this period.

Britney Spears is most famous for her dance tunes, but she’s also put out quite a few ballads over the years. The “…Baby One More Time” star could release a compilation album of slower songs if she wanted to. If she ever did that, here are five of the songs that would definitely make it onto the record.
5. ‘Perfume’
Spears started her album cycle for the record Britney Jean with a dance banger called “Work B****.” That number was big, stupid, and obnoxious in the best possible way. It’ll get you and your friends on the dancefloor for a night of silly fun.
She followed that up with “Perfume,” a ballad written by Sia. This bold move showed that the “Womanizer” singer has more range than casual fans might assume. “Perfume” includes a weird love triangle and some of Spears’ better vocals from this era.

Your Honor, which has been streaming on Paramount+ and Netflix, has found newfound success on top of its already record-breaking run on Showtime, and that leads to the question: Will there be a Season 3? In an interview with Deadline, CBS Studios President David Stapf addressed the question himself, cautioning fans to not get their hopes up – yet. “We love the show, and we’re hoping that it can continue, but it’s a little too soon to know or to tell,” Stapf said. “We would like there to be a Season 3 but we’re a ways away.” The legal thriller starring Bryan Cranston ranked at #1 on Paramount+ and amassed 1.5 billion minutes viewed in its first full week of also being available on Netflix in U.S. For the following week of June 10, Your Honor viewing rose to 1.9 billion minutes viewed, ranking at #2 just behind Bridgerton. Additionally, the series has just topped the overall weekly U.

Britney Spears‘ “Hold It Against Me” was different from her previous dance singles because it was a dubstep song. The “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer explained why she embraced the genre. She also made some interesting pronouncements about her taste in music.
Britney Spears said ‘Hold It Against Me’ was distinct from every other song
During a 2011 interview with Rolling Stone, Spears revealed why she experimented with dubstep on “Hold It Against Me,” the lead single of her record Femme Fatale. “I listen to a lot of different music from all over the world and I guess I just gravitate towards what sounds fresh and what makes me want to move,” the “Womanizer” singer explained. “I really didn’t want to record anything on this album that could be mistaken for anyone else out there. Britney Spears‘ worst songs are sometimes inexplicable. For example, she once contributed a track to a Smurfs movie that makes no sense. Her attempt to work with fellow pop star Rihanna was also regrettable.
5. ‘S&m’
In 2011, Spears’ music was hotter than it’d been in a long time, thanks to her album Femme Fatale, which includes her hits “Hold It Against Me,” “Till the World Ends,” “I Wanna Go,” and “Criminal.” Meanwhile, Rihanna was having a career-high point as well, thanks to the popularity of her dance record Loud.
A collaboration between these two titans of pop seemed like a surefire hit and it was. Spears appeared on a remix of “S&m” that topped the Billboard Hot 100 for a single week. Sadly, Spears’ vocal performance is indescribably awful.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 17 Episode 3 “Homesick.”] For 17 seasons, Criminal Minds and Evolution have had storylines that sent shivers down our spines and made us look away from the screen. The UnSub who severed spinal cords? The one with young Cameron Monaghan playing a kid who killed children? The UnSub who made three friends choose which of them would die—and forced the others to commit the murder? But “Homesick” may have just introduced the most disturbing storyline thus far. The episode quickly reveals what Voit (Zach Gilford) whispered to Luke (Adam Rodriguez): a website on the dark net, called BAUgate, with pictures and memes of the team in deepfaked pornography. It’s a problem Prentiss (Paget Brewster) inherited, she tells him. Homeland Security flagged it in 2014 and took it down. She made the call not to tell the team because it was best for everyone involved. But he knows...

Criminal: John Hawkes, Pat Healy, & more join Charlie Hunnam in Prime Video’s Ed Brubaker adaptation
John Hawkes has been one of my favorite character actors since he first came to my attention back in the ’90s with roles in films like Roadracers, Night of the Scarecrow, From Dusk Till Dawn, and I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, so it’s cool to hear (from Deadline) that he’s going directly from a multi-episode role in the latest season of True Detective to landing a recurring role in the Prime Video series adaptation of Criminal, the Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Sean Phillips. Hawkes, along with Pat Healy (Better Call Saul), Taylor Selé (Bmf), and Logan Browning (Dear White People), join previously announced cast members Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), Adria Arjona (Hit Man), Richard Jenkins (The Shape of Water), and Kadeem Hardison (A Different World).

Criminal Minds wrapped up its decade-plus run on CBS in early 2020. But in 2022, the show was rebooted for a 16th season, dubbed Criminal Minds: Evolution. The 10-episode, streaming-only season featured the team – including David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) – working a complex case involving a serial killer named Elias Voit (Zach Gilford).
While Criminal Minds: Evolution brought back most of the show’s core cast, a few familiar faces were missing.

Charlie Hunman is headed back to TV, and in a big way. Deadline reports that the British actor will lead the upcoming Prime Video series based on Ed Brubaker‘s graphic novel series “Criminal.” He joins a cast that already includes Adria Arjona, Richard Jenkins, and Kadeem Hardison. So will Hunman supply the onscreen magic that helped make FX‘s “Sons Of Anarchy” such a smash hit, or will “Criminal” be more like the actor’s last stint in television, the short-lived Apple TV+ series “Shantaram“?

Charlie Hunnam is set to make a return to series television. The former Sons of Anarchy star is set to play the lead in Prime Video’s highly anticipated Criminal, which is based on a series of graphic novels by Ed Brubaker. The series returns Hunnam to the world of organized crime, a genre that’s paid nice dividends for him in between Sons of Anarchy and The Gentlemen. According to Deadline, Hunnam is set to play the lead, “Leo, a brilliant master thief who sees all the angles, and specializes in plans with no guns and no violence. Like a chess player, Leo thinks three moves ahead. Other crooks think he’s a coward, especially compared to his father Tommy, who went to jail for murdering the most feared man in the city, Teeg Lawless.”
