Popular South Korean actor and model Song Jae-rim passed away on November 12, leaving everyone in shock. He is best known for We Got Married and has appeared in multiple prestigious magazines as a model. Scroll below for the deets.

Song began his career as a runway model and has appeared in magazines like Bazaar Korea, Vogue Girl Korea, Dazed Korea, GQ Korea, and more. He was only 39 years old. In 2009, he began his acting career, and one of his notable works is the period drama Moon Embracing the Sun. He experienced fame after playing an assassin in Two Weeks. He was also loved in We Got Married after he appeared in the show’s fourth season with Kim So-eun. He was last seen in Queen Woo.

According to media reports, Song Jae-rim was found dead in his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District.

South Korean actor Song Jae-rim has passed away at the age of 39.

The Korea Herald is reporting that he was found deceased at his home in Seoul, South Korea on Thursday (November 7). They also confirmed his funeral will take place at the Yeouido St. Mary’s Funeral Hall.

“Currently, there is no evidence of foul play,” the police apparently said in an update. A cause of death has not been confirmed at this time.

He became a fan favorite actor with his role in 2012′s The Moon Embracing the Sun. He also appeared in various K-dramas over the years including Cool Guys, Hot Ramen, Inspiring Generations, Two Weeks, Secret Mother and Queen Woo.

The series will have its European premiere in Series Mania’s ‘Special Screenings’ section. Pyramid Game is set to premiere on Tving in Korea on February 29 and later this year on Paramount+ globally.

Cj Enm (Hong Kong), a channels and content distributor that is part of the Korean Cj Enm conglomerate, has picked up pay-tv rights in parts of Asia to a handful of Korean series that were co-financed by streaming platform Tving and Paramount+. The deal was struck with Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The productions are part of a global strategic partnership between Cj Enm and Paramount Global that was announced in December 2021.

The deal was announced on the eve of the Asian TV Forum (Atf), which kicks off next week in Singapore.

The series debut first on Tving in Korea and on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. They then move to the Cj Enm-owned channels tvN and tvN Movies in the first window pay-tv slot in Southeast Asia.

Internationally produced Paramount+ original content is set to travel to the U.S. and beyond, going global on the company’s streaming service, Paramount Global said Monday. The move arrives as Hollywood giants are reshuffling fall and winter premiere plans amid the double strike of actors and writers that has halted production for weeks this summer.

Unveiling worldwide premiere dates for key originals from outside the U.S., Paramount+ said that British drama The Gold will become available across all of its international markets Sept. 14 and in the U.S. on Sept. 17; globally acclaimed Korean crime-thriller Bargain will debut globally Oct. 5; and the second season of the Spanish-language series Los Enviados will land on Paramount+ globally by the end of this year, following the success of the first season as the service’s best-performing Spanish-language scripted series in the U.S. to date, the company said.
