What If...? season 2 shows that if Peter Quill had remained on Earth, the Guardians of the Galaxy would have never formed, potentially preventing Thanos' snap. Yondu's decision to keep and raise Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy indirectly caused Thanos' snap in the live-action MCU. Peter Quill wiping out eight of the Nine Realms before coming to Earth in What If...? suggests there may have been no right choice for Yondu.
One small change in the timeline of the MCU could have saved millions of lives, which has now been proven by Marvel Studios' What If...? season 2. Anthony Anderson is teaming up with his mother, Doris Bowman aka Mama Doris, in Fox’s latest competition series We Are Family, and he’s excited (and possibly nervous) to hear what she’s got to say.
Anderson and Bowman replaced Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne in the series, which launches January 3 and comes from Fox Alternative Entertainment and Apploff Entertainment.
The series showcases non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member. It features a studio audience composed of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $150,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed.
We Are Family is not the first time that Anderson and his mother have worked together. Doris went viral after an appearance on Celebrity Family Feud, where her risqué answer stopped Steve Harvey in his tracks, and she...

Although a visually dynamic transformation with an incredibly compelling concept to boot, Ultra Ego no longer appears to be Vegeta's priority in Dragon Ball Super. The Saiyan Prince is even developing a replacement for Ultra Ego that he was kind enough to divulge the basics of to a shocked Goku. While this may sound abrupt, there's a good explanation as to why this is, and the fact that Vegeta is giving up on Ultra Ego connects to his overall character development.
In Dragon Ball Super chapter #76 by story writer Akira Toriyama and artist Toyotarou, Vegeta had already transformed into Ultra Ego and yet was easily bested by Granolah. The moment before Granolah is about to deal the finishing blow, Vegeta apologizes to Beerus for not being able to revert to the "callous, unfeeling man" he once was and then admits that the Power of Destruction was beyond him. As the movies and shows of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have continued to expand the franchise's sprawling superhero story, they've also offered a number of dark and shocking moments that seemed to come out of nowhere. Since the franchise began with 2008's Iron Man, the MCU has revolutionized live-action comic book adaptations, transforming them into the most profitable genre in cinema. With a wealth of comic book source material to adapt, there's plenty of potential for each story to deliver epic action, drama, and comedy.
However, the MCU has also seen a number of particularly dark moments. One of the most consistent Marvel movie trends in the MCU is to deliver unexpected emotional gut punches in order to keep the stakes high for its many heroes, leading to a number of unexpectedly dark developments. What's more, many of these moments are written to be different from the comics so that...

It was Ego Nwodim’s year to step up at “Saturday Night Live.” And did she ever. After a major cast turnover last season, Nwodim is now one of the veteran cast members on the show — and one of its most utilized on-screen.
Nwodim found herself elevated to senior status as long-running “SNL” stars such as Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kyle Mooney, Chris Redd and Melissa Villaseñor opted to exit. Cecily Strong followed suit midway through the season.
“To be part of such a strong, sturdy institution is already quite a wonder in itself,” Nwodim says. “But then to have people who are such pillars in that institution go, it feels like, ‘Is this going to work again? Is it going to feel the way it felt before? Is it going to feel better… or feel worse?’”
Cast changes have been a fact of life on “SNL” from the beginning.
