Anthony Anderson is teaming up with his mother, Doris Bowman aka Mama Doris, in Fox’s latest competition series We Are Family, and he’s excited (and possibly nervous) to hear what she’s got to say.

Anderson and Bowman replaced Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne in the series, which launches January 3 and comes from Fox Alternative Entertainment and Apploff Entertainment.

The series showcases non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member. It features a studio audience composed of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $150,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed.

iHeartRadio announced the return of ALTer Ego for 2024 with Paramore, the 1975, and Thirty Seconds to Mars among the biggest performers. The concert will take place on Jan. 13 at Anaheim’s Honda Center.

Also performing at the concert are bands such as the Black Keys, Sum 41, Bush, Yellowcard, Lovelytheband, and the Last Dinner Party.

Flanders Image’s annual film and TV showcase Connext (October 9-10) will present new work from the region’s creatives including Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and see Lukas Dhont curate the first edition of new talent showcase The Future Five.

Girl and Close director Dhont will select five emerging filmmaking talents for The Future Five, who will be presented to international industry attending Connext in Antwerp on the event’s first day. The initiative is in association with Screen International.

Since the franchise began with 2008's Iron Man, the MCU has revolutionized live-action comic book adaptations, transforming them into the most profitable genre in cinema. It was Ego Nwodim’s year to step up at “Saturday Night Live.” And did she ever. After a major cast turnover last season, Nwodim is now one of the veteran cast members on the show — and one of its most utilized on-screen.

“To be part of such a strong, sturdy institution is already quite a wonder in itself,” Nwodim says. “But then to have people who are such pillars in that institution go, it feels like, ‘Is this going to work again?
