Watchable, Good Commercial Movie;
Positives:
1. Good cinematography with good editing. Also the BGM in some important scenes was good.
2. Not many unnecessary forced humor. Especially 2nd half flashback portions were well paced and focused instead of fooling around.
3. Well executed interval scene with Thaman bgm delivering goosebumps.
4. It's an usual popcorn movie, and it doesn't pretend to be something profound. But it felt way better than NBK's last 2 films.
5. The screenplay keeps you engaged in the film for the most part (at least the first half and some major parts of the second half also) and the film tries to be family friendly while also catering to its core mass audiences.
Negatives:
1. Age old storyline (even the interval block is nothing new if you've seen this director's last film) They even hyped up the villains as very dangerous people but they get easily killed by the hero.
2. First half doesn't explore the storyline at all. The villains keep sending people, Balayya keeps beating them. There's the usual hero worship. More than this, the scenes with Urvashi were not needed for this film.
3. Climax didn't do justice to the hype built at the interval. Half baked attempt by Bobby Koli as usual. It is stylish and enjoyable but not impactful as compared to intro or interval scenes which build the hype for the ending.
4.!Even if you skip the entire first half and watch the movie from interval or post interval second half, it'll still feel like a whole movie in itself so first half was a mere timepass (or should I rather say timebwaste?), so there feels a lack of continuity.
5. The songs deviate from the story exactly when the story starts to get interesting. There's only 2 songs as far as I can remember in the first half. One was fine, other you probably know what I am talking about.
Overall, it's a good commercial movie, at least visually, but better work in the film's 1st half's storyline and in ending, could've made it even more enjoyable.
