Amy Pemberton won Best Actress for this film in its premiere screening at Malibu West Festival in late 2013. The film was re-cut soon after for it's release in 2014/2015. The original cut was much more character-driven and had less visual FX.
Film was originally called Chrononaut, and then later Death Machine. The film played in festivals in late 2013. It was released in early 2014 under the name Death Machine in Asia.
The film was shot in August 2012 and finished in 2013, but the release was delayed by Neil Johnson's larger film Starship, which was in big demand by his distributors. Neil Johnson added visual effects and re-cut the film for the U.S. release in 2015.
