Daburu

The main character, Takarada Takara, joined a theater company as a new actor when he hits rockbottom. In the show, we learned that he has ability to be a sponge, to absorb any influence and project them out in his acting performances. But there's a question lingering; if his performances are actually others' influence, does he has his own voice?

The show is surprisingly good, although the premise of the show is really simple. The acting is great, but what took me is the director's decision in how to show each of the characters' emotion and thought process.

It's interesting to see how it was being shown if Takarada really doesn't have his own voice, or he's just afraid that he doesn't have his own voice.

The way that the director utilize music to show if what we see is an acting performance or not and close up of Takarada's eyes to show that he's "absorbing others' performances" are also really interesting.
